这张纪念版一共塞进了43首歌，说白了就是一份给老乐迷的情书。最让人破防的莫过于那首《Lost》——切斯特的声音还在，可人已经离开我们快六年了。听说这首歌是应粉丝强烈要求才决定放出来的，Mike他们估计也纠结了很久吧。
除了原版专辑里的经典曲目，这次还挖出来不少当年没发行的demo和备选曲目。有些歌能听出乐队当年在录音室里反复打磨的痕迹，编曲和最终版不太一样，但反而更有那种粗糙的真实感。对于死忠粉来说，这些"边角料"可能比正式曲目还珍贵。
很少有一张专辑，能兼具商业的辉煌与艺术的赤诚，《Meteora》做到了，而这张20周年纪念版，更是将这份赤诚与辉煌，延伸出了更绵长的意义。当年，在《Hybrid Theory》创下全球千万销量的光环之下，林肯公园没有被名利裹挟，也没有陷入“续作必拉胯”的魔咒，他们遵循着自己的创作本心，拒绝一板一眼的传统制作模式，在录音室里肆意碰撞灵感——Mike Shinoda作为制作核心，不仅把控着每一个技术细节，还总爱插科打诨，创作一些笨拙却有趣的曲子，Chester Bennington则乐在其中，甚至写下了搞笑曲目《The Wizard Song》，这份轻松的创作氛围，也悄悄藏进了专辑的每一段旋律里，成为日后被乐迷津津乐道的小彩蛋，而这首搞笑曲目，也被完整收录在纪念版的附赠内容中，让我们得以窥见乐队不为人知的可爱一面。
