在这首歌中，来自乔治亚州梅肯市（并非小镇，人口近16万）的Aldean唱出了在小镇中犯罪是无法逃脱惩罚的。虽然这首歌在5月份就发布了，但是Aldean一周以前才发布了它的MV，结果立马引起了一场对其推广私刑、对抗议者的暴力和种族主义的指控。
这首歌因涉嫌种族主义的暗示和宣传对黑人的暴力威胁而受到指责。乡村音乐电视台CMT已经将MV从播放计划中撤下，并拒绝就停止播放该视频的决定发表评论。
